Sewing room tips - marking sissors.

It has been a long time since I have posted mainly because of the fire and the subsequent re organization of our home. We had nearly 16 weeks away from the house and although we have been back in it for 6 weeks there are still things that need to be done. (waiting on replacement windows, curtains etc)

However I am at the point of getting my sewing things out of storage - so I thought that I would write a series of short posts on the "tricks" I like to keep my sewing room functioning easily.

Scissors

To prevent misunderstandings about my scissors I tie a piece of fabric to the handles of all sewing scissors.... even a small child can get this idea. Since I have done this I have had no problems with sewing scissors being used on paper.

Left side scissors are for paper, Right side scissors are for fabric
