"A Gift of Quilts"

I have just finished my quilt for "A gift of quilts" project. these quilts will be distributed to the athletes at the London Olympics in 2012.

I called my quilt "We can all fit - if we are prepared to be trimmed"  Within the quilting there are words relating to specific sports eg beach volleyball, and some places eg Coventry as well as "sport concepts" such as "team work". There is no direct reference to the 2012 Olympics - evidently this is not permitted due to copy-write limitations. I hope however that it will be a pleasant memory for someone who participated.

  1. What a wonderful idea! And your quilt looks great!
    Have a nice day! Renate

  2. Just gorgeous - love the colours, the design and the quilting. Someone is bound to treasure it!!

  3. I love this quilt......well done! Did you make the pattern up yourself? I want to make one!

  5. And it turned out fantastic!!! well done you, love how you quilted it!

  6. A beautifully liberated quilt. The person that ends up with this one will be a winner no matter what!!!

I really enjoy the encouragement I get from feedback. As I am part of the process pledge I love to know if I am giving useful information... looking forward to hearing from you
